Smooth sailing at Southport R.A.M. |
| Despite some stormy seas around the country and possibly the odd “Deluge” Southport Royal Ark Mariners Lodge 473, steered admirably by Worshipful Commander, Bro Alan Foster admitted their newest ship-mate, when Bro Paul Morgan was elevated into the Lodge on Thursday 7th December 2017. |

| The Worshipful Commander did a fine job of the Ceremony and was ably assisted by W. Bro John Dixon, who delivered a faultless explanation of the Working Tools of the Degree. The whole evening was a great success and Bro Morgan clearly enjoyed the ceremony. |

| Mention must also be made of one member of the Lodge, W.Bro. Mike Eccles, who until just before the Meeting began thought he was witnessing the Ceremony, was suddenly press (ganged) into service as Warder. |
